AAXA releases M1 Ultimate-X LED Projector

AAXA Technologies has released the M1 Ultimate-X led projector. The only difference between the Ultimate and Ultimate-X is that the Ultimate-X features a 2GB SD Card instead of 1GB onboard memory. The reason AAXA has choosen to go this route is to further increase the stability of the onboard operating system.

* Native SVGA (800×600) resolution
* Ultra-bright 75 lumen LED light source
* SD card reader – 2GB card included

* Excellent text clarity and contrast
* Input support: See technical info below
* RMVB, MP3, AVI, JPG decoder

Projector made form legos… is this even real life?!?

Believe it or not, this functional Super 8 projector was built by Friedemann Wachsmuth with Lego. He used two Lego technic motors to drive the projection and rewind mechanisms and a bright LED flashlight as a light source. When all is said and done it can play crisp video at 24 frames per second.
Beyond the LED, the only other non-Lego components of this projector is the lens and the film reels. We assume the film itself is not made from Lego either, though that would make for some interesting home movies. Picture an hour of footage featuring Legoman being tortured as he winds through the reels over and over again.
This is certainly an impressive, if not ingenious build—but it looks like a lot of work. I’ll stick with this app to make my retro home videos for the time being thank you very much.

Favi RioHD LED Projector

The Favi RioHD LED projector is a portable mini projector that can be easily transported. It can be used for business or pleasure since it is a 400lumen LED projector. Since it is an LED projector, the light source is estimated to last 20,000 hours.

The projector comes with a nice array of connections like VGA, RCA and HDMI. This would make it compatible with any AV device currently on the market as well as your computer.

In short, the RioHD appears to be a very affordable LED projector that has potential being 400lumens plus all the connections necessary. At about half the price of a replacement bulb, even if the projector’s LED bulb only lasts 5000 hours, it’s still quite a bargain LED projector.

Samsung’s Pocket LED Projector takes portability to an exciting new level. The new Samsung SP-P310MEMX LED Projector delivers big-time, big screen picture quality and is so light and compact you can easily take it with you everywhere. You’ll experience clarity from any angle, because the Samsung Pocket LED Projector features a Carl Zeiss lens, the world- renowned optical leader, to provide supreme brightness and picture quality. Its DLP technology allows more lights from the LED lamp onto the screen. This pocket LED projector goes from offices to home theaters with no trouble at all!

This LED projector features specs like 50lumen, 800×600 resolution, 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, 1000:1 contrast ratio and A/V/VGA connectivity.

AAXA P1jr LED Projector

The AAXA P1jr LED projector is AAXA’s entry level LED projector. This LED projector features 10lumens at 640×480 resolution. There is an onboard PMP player which can read SD and USB memory sources. Additional external inputs can connect via the supplied RCA adapter or optional iPhone/iPod cable.

The most surprising feature of the P1jr LED projector is how bright it is given it is only 10lumens. The single white LED does surprisingly well in dim to dark environments. Given that it is a single white LED projector, colors like red and orange won’t be as vibrant, but at the price it is sold for, we would consider this an outperformer.
